Intro to Telling: Story Making    For Grades 2 - 8 (1 session; 90 - 240 mins.)
Students identify and employ story structure, successful presentation style, descriptive language, gestures and character
voices to share original stories.


Handy Storytelling Guide     For grades 1- 4 (6-12 sessions; 45 minutes each)
Students will explore story structure, world folktales and geography; practice successful presentation style, using descriptive language; employ stage directions; and use movement, and character voices to folktales and rhymes. 
Family and friends will be invited to attend the final session performance of student stories and rhymes.


Telling My Story     For grades 2 – 8 (6-12 sessions; 55 minutes each)
This writing and performance workshop will include imagination games, creative dramatics and active listening activities.  Students learn descriptive language, story structure and presentation skills to develop and share original personal stories.  In this workshop, they will develop self expression and self evaluation skills through progressive interactive practice. 
Family and friends will be invited to attend the final session performance of original personal tales.


Reading Together is Twice the Fun    For Early Childhood Educators & Parents
Educational research shows that success in school is closely tied to early literacy training and interest in reading. Learn to empower children for educational success by engaging in reading activities which are fun and educationally meaningful. 
Attendees practice read-aloud techniques and “playful” literacy activities to encourage joyful reading and learning success. 
One 60 - 90 minute session.


Making Word Pictures     For Grade 2 – 5 & ESL Educators
Capture your students’ attention and increase their language arts competency through storytelling techniques and theatre arts
games centered on using descriptive language.  Help students discover how the use of more descriptive language skills can enhance their writing and speaking skills.
